Finally got the stupid timing cover off and took a look at the timing set. Should be a double roller set right? Pic below is what I found. It's been in there a long time judging by how hard it was o get the TC off. Did someone open this motor up? What timing set is this? It's not quite like the FMPP HY-VO set. This car was in an accident before we bought it. Did they swap the motor for another year that didn't have a roller set? The mind races.....
