I'm looking to stiffen up my suspension some. Its 100% original except kyb shocks and struts. I've been looking at J&M's rear lower control arms for a long time and made my choice to get them. The uppers look pretty easy to install, rears look a little tougher. If i do the rear lowers first, can I get rid of the quad shocks? They're probably shot anyway. These are the ones I'm looking at.

Yes, you can remove the quad shocks if you do the lower control arms. I removed them even before I did control arms. Never felt a difference.
Keep the uppers stock. I would say to just replace the bushings but your car has low mileage so they should still be in decent condition.
And install for lowers isn't hard at all. There's 2 bolts holding each control arm in place. Just make sure to keep pressure on them so the springs doesn't fly out and decapitate you.

Awesome, now I can fit wider wheels & tires without worrying about them rubbing lol. The install sounds interesting lol. I'll see, probably have my mechanic put them on. Its getting way too cold to do anything outside, I have no garage to work on my car in. Shit i haven't washed my car in like 2 weeks, and I always keep it clean lol.

Yea the quads are useless if you have new control arms, and the only thing you'll have to worry about having a 10.5 in wheels in back is the fenders which need to be rolled before you put a tire bigger than 275's.

I ran 10.5's with Nitto 555r 315's on both of my 94's and never had to roll the fenders.

Oh and good choice on lca's. I have em and love em. And as Ferocious said, don't worry about the uppers.

Yeah J&M is the way to go for LCA's that's for sure. I got my J&M uppers for free so when I replaced my rear end I tossed them in. Why not?
