doh! Car had add on LCA mounting brackets(Axle side). standard position on the mount was used to attach the LCA mounting brackets. Suspect for lowering roll center, but thinking they were made to work with the original after market control arms(which were also adjustable in length) I'll get the parking brake out of the way, get these off and go back to the standard mounting hole with the MM LCA's etc.
That's a good 1-1 1/4 " between mounting holes.

That would do it.

I think there were a number of locally developed parts that this car had on it.
Removed the add on LCA mounting plates and Voila.. I have my ride height back!
Thanks so much for everyone's input!!!
I found the pinion stubber in a box.
Installed where it should be and ready to get a good alignment for track duty.
Cheers

UPDATE. Ride height good, alignment good. Trying to figure out what "BANG" I have introduced and where.
Any thoughts? I can't see it hitting anything under here

all new upper and lower control arms.
94IndyPace, That is what I was thinking, but its bloody hard to pinpoint without being under there!
I might see if I can get the camera mounted so its pointing directly at it while driving.
Thanks everyone for the comments! I had originally put red gaffers tape over exhaust piping/frame/tank etc to see if anything was rubbing but found nothing
