or anyone else that may know. I removed the snapring on my1-2 accumulator and their was hardly any pressure, when I removed the cover there was a spring that I took out and when I went to put the cover back on I could push it down about an inch or so. I down loaded the directions for replacing the accumulator but it just doesn't feel wright, I have never done this before so it may be normal....after removing the snap ring and the cover should the spring be next? I'm installing the tranny in the morning so any help asap would be greatly appreciated.

After more reading I think what I'm referring to as acover is the accumulator piston....so I removed the spring that is right after this part....if this is correct let me know....If this is incorrect please let me know, I don't want to install the tranny and have I screw up. Thanks in advance.
