Thanks man...I will.

I have a lot of plans for it...just ordered new tires for it...gonna paint it black, with gold or red wheels, new grips, tank protector, probably needs a new chain/sprocket (this one is getting loose).

Its not perfect...but its a great first bike. It has a stunt cage on it...I'm eventually gonna take it off, but I'll keep it on for now in case I dump it while I'm learning

nice bike man.. Why is it the camera shots look kinda odd? U do that on purpose? I see you still have the saleens lol..

Really nice bike though man.. Be careful and dont try and be one of those asshats weaving in and out of people all the time at 120...Least till u get the hang of it..

Also u should sign up for a track day or 2 at the track.. it really helps from what ive heard from riders

I like it and would also leave the cage on! I plan on doing a cage or buying one when I finally do get a bike, it's great protection if you do dump it!

Thanks guys! No worries...I'm being smart about it. I'm shopping for a nice helmet, jacket, and gloves right now.

For it being your first bike, is it easy to ride? Do you have experience with other dirtbikes, quads, etc?

No experience really...I contemplated going with a small beater bike to learn on, but I've heard both sides of the story. Lots of people say...start with a 250, then go bigger. Then other people say don't bother with a 250 you'll get sick of it in 3 weeks. So I went with the ladder...and just got what I wanted. I'm going to take a riding class to get my license...and I'm gonna take my time getting to know the bike. I've been tooling around in my driveway with it...once my gear gets here (just ordered helmet/jacket/gloves)...I'll take it to the street.

I have a bunch of friends with bikes...so I have a lot of advice and positive support around me :eek:ccasion14:

Nice man, I've always wanted a bike, I grew up on a dirt bike..
Especially since at my new job there are never any parking places, but there are always bike parking places.

However, I will never take the chance. No matter how good of a rider you are, the people around you can decide your fate at any second. And unfortunately this happened to one of my very close cousins. Therefore I will never own or ride one..

Nice choice but if you do ever decide to get some forged wheels don't hesitate they are expensive but worth it, I just put some carrozzeria wheels on my bike and the diffrence over stock is crazy, they make it so much easier to flick the bike from side to side while cornering.

Took my first ride on the bike today...rode it around my neighborhood, it actually felt pretty natural. I had it up to 4th gear cruising around...I can tell this is going to be a MAJOR addiction :angel4:

How much did you get it for? Yamaha's around here are soo friggin expensive, but they are probably the best quality bikes.
