So yeah about the motor. What year Mark is it outta and what kinda wiring needs to be done? Im kinda thinking about selling off my engine and going 4v too. A LOT more potential.

Yeah. I need to know the year to help you out. Where you at bro. I got a 95 mark viii motor and I had to get a new intake from a 98 mark viii.

Yeah I saw the link it's pretty complex really, and there's no way I can get ahold of a cobra intake just too expensive. It would be nice if I just dropped the car off at someones place where they can work on it because I sure as hell don't have the tools to **** with it

Still keeping the DOHC swap in mind but there is a guy willing to trade my laptop for a rebuilt pi motor and use my old motor for payment which means no money out of my pocket!

Yeah I mean a DOHC swap would be awesome but I gotta think what's best for me financially right now. Plus I head DOHC parts do not come cheap!

Well here's an update/bad news..
Im getting down to the wire here and im having no luck with getting a motor.
I've even looked into 5.4 swaps and no luck. Im having a hard time selling this laptop I've dropped the price all the way down to $550 so I spoke with my buddy last night and he said that just replacing the rod bearings would be best at this point so long the crank isn't scarred or scratched which it shouldn't since the car hasn't been driven since the day I first heard the noise.
What I plan to do is inspect the crank make sure all is good, replace all rod bearings with bi-metal bearings and call it a day and IF I can find someone to trade my laptop for a PI heads and intake I'd do a PI swap
So keep that in mind guys I'll trade my laptop AND dre beat ear buds for PI heads and intake
