junkyard hid

i recently bought a hid kit six months ago and one of the bulbs burnt out and the buyer i bought it from will not warranty the bulb so i have decided to get some hid bulbs and ballasts from the junkyard. i was just wondering if anyone knows the price ranges for hid components at a junkyard and does anyone have a list of vehicles that would be plug and play for a 94' mustang. i cant remeber but it's a 9007 type harness right? thanks in advance

man they are only like 50 bucks. dont buy a used kit you might end up being down the same path here before to long

Yeah, agreed. Used bulbs is definitely a ballsy move.

+1 and ya, 9007 is the bulb connector. Get one that has a warranty, so if this ever happens again, at least you're covered. Good Luck

Dont go cheap. Hidguy.net has the best kits on the market, slim ballasts and bulbs that last for years.

I have VVME in mine and haven't had any problems with them. I think i paid 55 Shipped for the Kit. I also got 3 extra bulbs also just in case anything were to happen. Also Look at DDM tuning and also i think it is HIDGUY

what kelvin are your hids? Also, good luck finding hids at the junkyard.

Do you have inspection where they check your Lights?? If so then yes. I have a 6k 35watt kit from VVME i am very very pleased with mine. I also just purchased a 4300k kit to go in the Amber fogs i got
