I'm sure plenty of you guys have rear brake issues... If not, pay close attention to your rear calipers and brackets!! Both of my calipers were locked up solid on the slides. It had nothing to do with my negligence, just a poor design for the bolts and slides and the fact my car sees 400 miles a year. :crazy2: The previous owner never greased the slides and so they rusted and became locked inside the bracket. It was a pain in the ass to fix, thankfully Dorman makes new brackets and most good aftermarket re-man loaded calipers (Cardone, Wagner C&W etc.) come with brackets and hardware. I drilled and tapped a grease fitting into the back of the bracket so it will never happen again. :) I just don't want anybody to have to go thru what I did. :)

ever since i've done the cobra brake swap on the fronts of my car i've been getting this really strange squill from the brakes "i think" b/c when i tap them it goes away while i tap them but as soon as the foot comes off sweak sweak sweak... sometimes it sounds like the fronts and sometimes the rear... could this be it? car has like 170k on it now.
