I just bought a 98 cobra. Im going to use it as a secondary and road track car. Just tryin to get advice on best bang for your buck upgrades...A member said gears might be a good place to start? If so what gears?

nice. pics? also 4.1s are really nice gears on them, id suggest u pick up a speedcal too when you go to do it.

Ya I'm trying to figure the pic thing out right now!! Speedcal? I can drive but mechanically I'm retarded!

upload your pics to photobucket and use the image link. its a dallas mustang speedcal, used to correct the speedometer from the effect 4.1s would have on it.

I like your car are those the gt4 wheels? I was thinking about getting those. Do you have the 10 in the back?

secondary road race car huh?

Ide start with suspension and go from there.. Along with the normal CIA,midpipe/catback..

and road racing 4.10s are ok. But ide go 3.90. If your actually going to see road courses..

Plan on autoxing it?

id start with a basic suspension overhaul. Springs, shocks, struts, lower control arms, sub frame connectors, sway bars, bump stear kit, some nice tires, and fresh bushings.

Thanks for all the advice! Ya I live in the N.W. we get a lot of snow around here so anyone who has a mustang almost needs a second car to get around in the winter. We have a small road course....kinda crappy but all be taking it there and autoxing it. I eventually plan on moving south just to be around more tracks! I love driving!
