Just finished installing my Vortech

I did the $1500 budget S/C build. Here are a few pics and a short video. It's not getting tuned til next wed. My tuner just gave me a chip for now that recalibrated the MAF for the 42 lb injectors. Hopefully I make some good numbers, I can't wait.

well yeah i couldve guessed that but that one looks brand spankin new. Looks like he picked up a nice one...Im kinda lookin into this now though. Would it be ok to just go straight to a s/c even know i dont got any other mods to my car besides bolt ons (exhaust, CAI)...

I got just about $2000 into it including everything, all the vortech stuff, head unit, fuel pump, injectors. Everything brand new. I got the head unit off of ebay, it has 3000 miles on it, used to be on a show car. The tune is gonna set me back another couple hundred though, but def. still worth it IMO

Well the final verdict is 381 HP 355 TQ @ 8.5lb

That was after a first pull of 230 because of the insane 160 degree air temp.

After letting it cool down and pegging out the MAF she got 371.

Then after letting her cool down again and putting in a Mafia MAF extender, I finally got the above numbers out.

I'm pretty satisfied with the numbers esp. from an automatic, plus it feels GREAT!
