^^Haha.. whether you mean it or not, I appreciate the kind words. I've got a plan on how to make it happen now. Need to just stick with it. Really needed this thread, thanks again everybody.

I know this is a little late, but if you sell the car, you'll do exactly what duh09 did. you'll regret it in a day, and then not long later, go back and (try to) buy the car back. People that sell their car on impulses for whatever reason, always regret it. Don't sell it until you know you're ready to sell it, and if that time never comes, at least wait until you've given it enough thought.

Another option could be, take what you expected to have to pay to get this fixed, whether it was done by yourself or someone else, and look into buying a second car with some of or all of that money, and let the mustang sit for now. You could always come back to it.

Fix it man I was in the same boat your in a month or so ago, I found a broken bolt left by the previous owner and was drilling it and the bit broke off a 1/4 inch up in the bolt and was on the pressure side of the water pump, One thing led to another and everything the previous owner said was done to the car wasn't all I had was a turd I was so ready to give it to a new owner but started looking at vids on youtube and all and found motivation to go ahead and build another block. Know I'm all forged with gt40p heads and happy I didn't sale it. So go ahead and fix it and ride the hell out of it you'll be happy in the long run.

I was completely ready to unload the 95 when I sold it. I was tired of it. Too many little things wrong with it, not enough time to get it going right, and not enough patience to deal with it. I regretted it big time a week later. I had given up on the car for a long time, seeing it occasionally sparked it again, but when I saw it in the dealer again I HAD to buy it back and its not leaving again. I don't drive it very often anymore and those little problems are in teh back of mind and I don't care. Worse comes to worse, move it out of the way, cover it up and forget about it for a couple months. When you get enough money to fix it and fix it right, then dive right back in.
