Look at the graph though...your torque curve is great. What was the final A/F ratio?

Rmember like I said as well as Paul and Venom...Numbers are not everything. I could make 300HP and you can make 260 and still beat me at the track.

There are so many more variables to racing than just HP numbers. I wouldn't be upset at all...you have a good, solid setup now go have fun with it. You can always make more power then that...all it takes is time and money.

Go out and have fun with your car.

The cats are holding you back too. I can almost guarantee that every car that hit 300 w/ this top end kit had an O/R H or X pipe

Stock cats perhaps, but not an aftermarket hi-flow catalytic x-pipe. I've seen back-to-back dyno numbers with and without cats on a HCI 302 with TFS heads, TFS1 cam, and GT40 intake - they were within 1 hp of eachother and the offroad pipe actually lost torque.

That is why you get a prochamber O/R H-pipe.

Prochamber FTW

Yeah man...the torque curve is really good.

Tempature doesn't play much of a factor in a tune as humidity does. The humidity was at 33% which is a good amount.

i'm just trying to help you out dude. you either got something wrong, or the tune sucks. period. 260 is not right for that kit. you could spent 300 on a set of used gt-40 iron heads, 300 on a used cobra intake. 2-300 on a cam and made 260. hell, a set of 1.7rr's on you stock cam would have got you that and saved you the money for the cam.
i just don't understand you guys spending 2500 on a kit and not getting all you supposed to out of it and being happy with it. but, then again, it's not my money so what do i care.
2500 bucks for 260hp? no thanks. no way you should be happy with that. i had that kit on my vert and it made 309. the heads and cam with my gt-40 made 300 with no timing in it yet. so don't try to tell me those kits don't produce what they say. if it don't you got issues somewhere.

The stock care are definetly restrective but isnt there High Flow Cats and then ones that are not high flow?

Yep. You can literally see through the high-flow cats on the exhaust for my 422.

I've seen it proved on multiple occasions that on most mild/moderate combinations, especially naturally aspirated, a set of high-flow cats won't lose any power.

I watched a 502 rwhp blown '95 Cobra only lose 5 hp (down to 497rwhp) with high-flow cats. That's less than 1% difference - negligible.

All my street-driven cars have cats. It makes the car quieter, not stink as much, and it even helps the environment. :tongue3"

Paul.
