Monkey-man, do you mean the cruise will be swapped over? If so, yes it will be. It comes just the steering wheel. Does not even come with an air bag cover. I'll reuse my old saddle one.

My steering wheel had the huge cover on it when I bought it. I of course bought a Texas Longhorns one. The 'wheel' is all black now! I had to keep the cover on it. I really don't like those, really.

I didn't really understand your post, hope this answered your ?.

A "clockspring" is the part that is located beneath the air bag steering wheel. It's a black circular piece of plastic with wires that come out of it. The wires are wound up inside just like a "clockspring" found in clocks, watches, small wind up motors, etc. Since the wires are wound up inside, this allows the wires to turn as the steering wheel is used. The part controls the air bag, blinkers, flashers & horns. When it goes bad, 1 or more of those items will become inoperable. Sometimes when the clockspring does go bad, the airbag light will flash the error code (blinks x amount of times, which = the error code).

It's easy to replace. I had to replace the clockspring in my 94 Bronco, it's a common wear item (more so) on the F-Series/Broncos.

The aftermarket part is manufactured by "Dorman" and depending on where you can buy it from (eBay, online parts vendors, NAPA, Pep Boys, Advance Auto or Autzone), be prepared to pay anywhere from $65-$120. I believe the Ford Dealer price for this part is in excess of $150+.

The procedure to replace a clockspring in the 94/95 Mustangs is the same.

This is taken from CobraJet NJ off Corral. Thanks for the info

Thanks. My search came back with an Ebay listing. I won't have this done though. I am tapped out for this month's spending!! Maybe once I get kinda back on my normal spendings, I might then.

I don't have it yet! I've got 2 items coming on the 12th. Then 2 more on the 13th. I will take all of the stuff I got on Monday. Tuesday will be a terrible day for me, so I'll make another trip that next Monday.

I was talking about when i buy mine, I would get a cruise control unit out of another mustang and put it in, as my car is lacking the cruise lol.

I have to have cruise! I could not afford the tickets without it! I love to speed! My cruise keeps me from speeding! I set it, and forget it.

Back to the clockspring; my cruise, horn, and stuff worked fine when I took it in. Why would I need to replace this, I guess is what I am trying to ask. I really can't afford $5 more worth of stuff. If I really need to, I of course can. I'd rather not to though. Thanks again.
