I just picked my car up from Fastlane Motorsports after getting dyno tuned. The tune wasn't crazy, it's for daily driving. Mods are: PI swap, mid pipe, cat back, K&N intake, and 70mm tb. I made 260.7 rwhp and 302.0 rwtq. Those numbers are pretty damn impressive seeing that I was making 200 rwhp with FRPP headers and 188.5 rwhp without them. PI swap and a tune = 72.2 rwhp! O0

Oh yeah, definetly a lot quicker. It pulls so much more up high, too. I know someone with a '97 Cobra with a cat back and an intake. I'm going to run him soon.

How do you like Fastlane? They are about a minute away from my house and I haven't gone there yet for any work. I hear ALOT of great stuff about them though.

The guys there are awesome and they do great work. They know Mustangs really well and get it done fast. I highly reccomend them. Since you're so close to Fastlane, did you hear about the cruise that was put together? There's a bunch of guys from around here (from Wake Forest to out by you and all in between) that are meeting up at Crabtree at 10:30 AM next Saturday and cruising out to Burlington (about 45 minutes away). We're meeting up with guys from a Mustang Club in Charlotte and the MOB (Mustangs of Burlington) guys. It should be a lot of fun and should be a big meet. There will be videos and pics taken, too. You should come out. PM me if you think you can make it.

thats some good numbers....so a gain of 72hp at the tires is almost an 85hp gain at the flywheel on a stick car.....very good numbers!

this is why I need a pi head/cam swap.... I figure with all the bolt ons/ long tubes and a new tune I will be in the 250-260 range.

I don't know about that. I know someone with an '01 GT and it had LT's, x-pipe, cat back, 75mm tb and plenum, pulleys, and a jlt intake and is only making 256 rwhp.

His number's are a little higher than normal, but so what? What is important is it probably feels worlds better to drive, quicker throttle response, and pulls to about 5600 hard. It also sounds cooler, and is alot faster than a non swapped ride.
