Just purchased my AFR 165cc, 58cc stud mount what's needed with these heads.

I would get some hardened push rods and ask whoever sent your heads for the recommended length, make sure you tell him the ratio for your rockers and the lift and duration of your cam. Also make sure your valve covers will clear those studs especially if you get a rocker arm girdle. If you require taller valve covers you might need a spacer between the upper and lower intake manifold. And if you need a spacer for the intake you will need to extend the egr tube if you still have it... Good Luck!

u will also need the adapter bushings to go from 1/2 to 7/16 head bolt.

yep, i bought the trick flow bushings from summit

I like the 9333PT-1..

The dude at AFR told me I could use them without issue. He said they only list the 1011-1 because it is MLS, and MLS tend to be stronger and don't blow as easy.

Well, the 9333PT-1 works fine according to him, and I would rather blow a head gasket then a piston :thumb:

You see dudes on the Corral all the time using the 9333PT-1 with AFR.

what would be the difference if I did'nt buy them. They're just @ my house not where I got them from. looking just like the picture, easier to have the part with you to have a better idea of what people are talking about then looking @ a picture in guessing.
