had a chance to look under the car while they put the H-pipe on a while ago, and I just found this pic I made on my phone.. had forgotten about it lol.
Don't know if you can read it, but it's sais this on the diff cover: 2L73883HO1 or something.. I guessed from driving the car that it still has the 2.73's, but does this confirm my thoughts? 2L73?

Yes.. The 2L 73 would be for 2.73 gear ratio from the factory, and the "88"
immediately following would stand for an 8.8 rearend.. I can't remember the code for traction lock though...

yeah 2.73 gears; the ultimate way to test this is the speed test though.

To figure out your gears it is, (rpm x tire height), divided by (336 x mph) as long as you are using 4th gear in the tranny.
(YOU MUST BE IN 4th GEAR)

You mean I have to use math to confirm something that's already a given? That's highschool all over again!

yeah it's a 5spd, but the slow long ass 2.73's are starting to get on my nerves already

Good lord $10gal!?

It cost me $25 to fill it from E to over F.
I ahve to say, you're even cooler now for having such a slick car in such a faraway place AND you're paying $10 gallon to drive it everyday. Mad props lol.

Hell, I'd be bumping up to 3.27s if I was you. SO def kudos and kudos and kudos to you. ahaha

3.73's... DD and $10 a gallon.

Is it that much? I was in Denmark last year when gas prices were higher than they are now and it wasn't quite that high. Is it significantly higher in Holland?

Holland has got the highest gasprices in europe.. it's because our government deems it necessary to tax it soooo much. Like they don't have enough tax on other things yet. 78% of the gasprice is pure tax.

3.55 gears are a good mid gear, 4.10's are good but i'd choose a gear that is set for your future plans, like no reason to buy 4.10's and go turbo..

I'd say 3.55 or 3.73 With over $140 to fill up.... F that.. I bought a beater to help with gas prices (28MPG FTW) But nothing can
help that rediculous of a tax.... :angry7:

forced to use public transport to get to work everyday.. that's the only thing that helps. driving the mustang to work every day is just out of the questions. Apart from gasprices, I would be stuck in traffic twice a day and working in the centre of Rotterdam = no parking space.

It sucks, but I get to enjoy the stang on weekends or nice evenings.

Americans would riot if they tried to pull that here.
