if i get a kenne bell supercharger
will it fit under the factory hood of my 97 GT??

You have to cut out a small portion on the underside of the hood. KB advertises it will fit under stock hood, which is true. But you don't find out till you get the manual that you have some cutting underneath. I haven't put mine on yet, but I am getting another hood to fit it, so I can keep stock hood in one piece.

i had to cut a good bit from my hood, and it still rubbed the top of the blower, so i just used that for a reason to buy a r hood.

I can't answer for a 97 but I had a Kenne Bell 1500 on my 1995 with a stock hood (pushrod motor).
