I have been having been looking at a 02 GT. I like the SN95 body style a lot better although I have seen some sharp Newedges if done up right. I guess it's that their are a lot of 6cyl ones running around here. Either way I will be getting something else for a DD and the Mustang will be going in the garage.

My 94 needs a lot of work has supension, tires, rims, exhaust and thats about it for now. Needs paint new seats 160k miles. Have some parts not put on yet could sell for parts for the new one. GT40Y heads, Powdercoated GT40 Tubular Tmoss ported lower and CobraR hood.

I havent drove a Newedge yet but like the better transmission, and better block. It's dark blue with black leather interior. Not a super big fan of blue but this one caught my eye and could definatly live with it.

Maybe it's just I'm ready for something new. Just not sure what way to go.

If anyone can run a vin please PM me.

Going to look at the 02 tomorrow. I kind of leary as it's only $4,999.00 and from the pictures it's really nice. Ran a vin check and came out perfect. Is their anything special to look out for in these cars?

Not really anything big but start it cold and listen to the timing chain guides/tensioners. If you hear any kind of rattling behind the timing chain cover then rest assured you'll be replacing parts before long. The TR3650 trans in the 02 doesn't shift as smoothly as the T5/T45's did but it is allegedly built a little tougher- has internal stops. You also get the better twin-piston front brakes among other little improvements in the '99+ series. That price is kind of low though, I could see a nice V6 bringing that.

Just got it home. Overall I'm happy with it especially for the price. Pretty much stock except the C@L intake tube. Kind of sucks I was hoping it atleast had exhaust.
Not the best pic just the one from the dealers website.

Not bad for 5k....I saw a clean ass 97 aztec gold at a little dealership the other day for like 2500 bucks.

Was kinda surprised how low the price was.
