Its possible when swapping a 302 1.5 to a 2.2 kb as long as its for a 302 not sure about the differenve between the 4.6 vs 302 units.

The 2.2 impellers wont work in the 1.5 housing,unless you swap out the 1.5 bearing plates.The cost of this is quite large,and not worth the expense....,but you can just upgrade to the 2.2 compressor with your 1.5 manifolds,and all you'll have to do is tap one hole. Again not sure about the 4.6 units.
Unless your motor is built and you plan on running more than 9psi i dont see any benifit.

Yes I agree, I don't think I'll be removing any interior parts though only manifold and snout

Yeah I have a decently built engine, I was only going to swap the manifolds, I wasn't planning on touching any shims/rotors or anything purely manifold and snout only. I'm hoping to get 15 ish psi

After looking at the 4.6 version it doesnt look like the snout will align with the 302.

Yeah I have I tried to get ahold of them but I didn't get through, Im calling tomorrow mostly because my work runs when they close
