my kenne bell boys with the 2.2 for the 5.0's ....what are u guys pushing hp tq 1/4 mile whatever i want to know cause im going to invest in 1 haha

you probably could but to be efficient you may want to look into running meth full time. the tuner was telling me that even 9psi was high for my setup because the intake air temp was over 200 degrees. I plan on running meth to help cool the air but it's not something i wanted to rely on all the time.

intercool it dude. they are dropping temps by 100 degrees with air to air's. im going to get a blowzilla flowzilla combo and i want to intercool it i just know its a pain.

ya heard about the intercooler idea ..i mean why not i think both ways are great to me have about 2500 saved up so im almost there but thanks for the advice guys..

If there was a bolt on kit to run an intercooler I might consider it but it's all custom work and I don't think its worth it. If i was going to run something with an intercooler it would probably be a turbo and you'd get way more power for your effort.

Found it very interesting that the older 1500 is more efficient @10# or less above 3500rpm (from what they have seen).

That's a cool site, wish I had seen that before installing mine. I have to call shens though on running the FPR line to the boost side, that might be if you're not going to get it tuned but then what are you doing with a blower anyways? I have mine running to the VAC side of the blower with 42lb injectors and I have yet to see a problem...

OnyxCobra are u using your stock tranny and what gears are running cause on the kb website it says that it is fine to run a stock tranny but i just wanted to know cause i got ford racing 4.10 gears and wanted do a little custom work to the tranny which is AODE auto, or i would prolly swap the damn thing to a TKO i wonder if they make those auto..

I do have the stock T5 but it's been on it's way out for a while now. It's definitely going to be a handful with 4.10 gears, seems a little steep for a KB car. I have 3.55s and BFG DRs and it'll light up 1st gear at will, even 2nd gear will get loose.

love the kb on 5.0s mine puts down 385.5 and 491.7 using water meth injection it really help keep the air charge temps down
