I've been heavily searching around for options as far as superchargers go, for when I finally purchase one this June or July. So far the Procharger Kit looks pretty good to me, but the Kenne Bell is by far the best ive looked at. Ive read some conversations on different forums about them, do they still make them for the 96-98? On their site it says they still make them but you need to call for info.

If not available new from the company, what do you suggest as far as finding one? Thanks

I'm sure you're aware of the way higher price, so I'll skip that for now. I would assume you are interested for the torque curve. When I get to Dallas, I'll post mine from my Novi, a centrifugal. It kind of flies in the face of conventional internet knowledge...

But if you are set on a KB, you can shop used, or, buy a tuner kit for the PI heads, and either swap heads, or use plates or rtv to take up the difference, and simply add in your fuel system (injectors, pump, maf)

what do you mean buy a tuner kit for the heads JR? Also, I spoke to the Kenne Bell company they informed they are all completely discontinued but if I had PI heads It would work fine if I went with the 99-04 model.

Also, what would you guys suggest, Ive ridden in a mustang with a Kenne Bell and it was probably the fastest mustang ive ever rode in. Ive only rode in one mustang with a centrifigal supercharger, it was a paxton but it definitely wasnt any where near the level of kenne bell stang i was in. The paxton was only at 8 psi though, where as the kenne belle mustang was around 12psi.

What would be the best idea? Ive always enjoyed alot of torque and Im aware that the Kenne Bell is definitely the winner in that sense, but as far as price goes to actual power gained what is the best option?

A tuner kit would be the blower kit, and everything you need to physically bolt it to your block, wiht no tuning accessories, so no bigger injectors, no tune, no MAF, you supply it all. Which is what you would want since the stuff for a 99-up wouldn't work anyway.

Personally, in bang for the buck, nothing beats a 2k used Vortech or Procharger kit. Even considering the 500-700 bucks you have to add in to get them right. Obviously the below graph from my Novi 2200 isn't exactly what you can expect, since t he Novi has an exceptional compressor map, but just know, that when you get a good head unit, don't try to overspin it, and match it to the rest of the combo, it's a beautiful synergy.
