I just got a snow kit for my KB, but havn't installed it yet... From what I have herd they work great, especially because kb's add like 1000000000000000000000 degrees to the intake temps

I just like the fact that your not dependent on electronics...less chance of something failing.

The snow kit comes with an electronic controller so you can fine tune the car on the street with 2 seperate tunes. It also allows you to run more than one nozzle if you are making big HP ie: 800HP etc.

The Mr. Freeze is basic, simple and works real well. I know 2 guys using it and they love it. Great if you are tuning on a dyno.

I've been looking around on the Snow site and they sell a TON of kits, I'm not sure what you mean by dependant on electronics but they sell some kits that run off pressure. does that count?

I myself have only seen the kits with the controller.

If it is a basic kit such as the mr freeze...I would go with the cheaper of the 2.

my snow kit works great, but i used the windshield washer tank, and 94-95 stangs dont have a low fluid sensor, so if you run out, you'll know ( knock knock), one day i will put a regular jug where the battery was ( relocated after install and dyno tune ) but i dont drive the car much so not a big deal to me now

Call Rick Anderson and see what he thinks. He'll be honest with you...if he thinks the snow kit is the better route for you, he will tell you that.

AFM cams from what I've seen put down better numbers then most of the comp cams out. However there are a plethora of freaking comp cams out for 5.0s, and lord knows its hard as hell to look at there catalog.

Well it's just strange he doesn't post any of his cam specs, and when you do see them they're always the same as another cam on the market...

his specs may be the same, but the shape of the ramp and the base profile make all the difference, scince low lift airflow is as critical as the total lift, not considering the acceleration and slowing of the valve so it doesnt bounce off the seat or off the rocker.

Rick Anderson knows his sh1t. He is one of the original aftermarket 5.0 guys from the early 90's.

Comp cuts his cams for him, just like they do for Ed Curtis and Jay Allen.

I have all of the AFM cam specs. I don't know one OTS Comp cam that is identicle as his.

Yeah that's cool man, just stating what I've heard in the past. I think it is weird that he doesn't show his cam specs though.

I have no clue why he doesn't either. I think it is odd myself.

If you want his cam specs for any reason let me know. I have them on my other computer so PM me if need be and when I get a chance I can send them to you if you want.

I need to bump this, this question is for you guys running KB's.

I need to modify my upper radiator hose to clear the belt, i see some of you guys have one piece chrome tubes and shit and some cut/clamped the hose. How/where did you guys do this? I need some info for my install. Thanks!

My chrome radiator hose is by MAC and I bought it from www.mustangsunlimited.comhttp://
It's both the upper and lower in the kit, but I only used the upper for show as you can't really see the lower and I don't want it getting pelted by rocks or something and risk it blowing.

I've seen some people run the stock upper hose and the belt not touch the hose. Mine comes very close to the chrome hose, but it does clear with about 3/4" of clearance, so it's enough. There is an elbow fitting that comes with the Kenne Bell kit so that you can splice the hose and clamp it down so that it will fully clear the belt. In short, try the stock hose as it sits, it will probably clear the belt with no isses. My chrome hose is built exactly the same as a stock, and other than the fact it's a little smaller in diameter, it clears with no problems.

YOu can also get those flexible steel ones from Jegs and Summit, you can form it any way you want, and they work very well. I used one on my 88GT, and on customer cars that had serious clearance issues.
