Can you get an intercooled 2.1L KB for nPI heads?

i've been checking their site, but they don't specify whether or not an intercooler is available on the nPI kit.

for $5k i'm not so sure.

i didn't realize the pricing went up so much untill i actually looked into them.

may have to find a more cost effective route

Gotta pay to play...the crappy part about buying a KB for 96-98 is they don't offer the $3900 non intercooled kit only the $5000 intercooled version. Thats one of the reasons i went with the Ford Racing blower.

since your looking, any blower will be restricted through NPI heads.

How much power do you want to get?

eventually i'd like to see 350-400rwhp.

maybe even go forged than shoot for 500rwhp

my first plans are going to be heads/cam

i'm not going to do a stock PI swap, but am considering either porting the nPI's or getting ported PI's.

the final budget will be the deciding factor in everything. for now i'm just doing as much research and info gathering as i can.

dude the KB is a sweet kit but the thing you need to do is go on the cheap and buy pi heads and intake, cosmetic gaskets to keep the 9:1CR and then get a vortec. That way you come out with more power and 4k around about. I'm doing the pi swap on my car for around 600 dollars so thats sweet.
