key fob- keyless entry

I got a 96 GT, and I was told about the anti theft box in the trunk n key fobs. My ? is where is the cheapest place to get the fob and which ones are trust worthy. Thanks for the help!

you will need to make sure that it has a stock system before you buy the remote. Have you done this already or just assuming>?

Check ebay for some good prices...I had good luck there for myself.

I have an extra module for the trunk if anyone needs it.

LOL...I figured you would find that out! Seems like 1000% markup on Ford parts nowadays.

they make aftermarket keyless systems for $70 that has better range, for a little more then $100 you can get a basic alarm.

Unless you find one on the bay for cheap, I would go aftermarket.

I just have a compustar pro, I have tested the remote from 1/2 a mile away before and it will broadcast from the car to the remote over a mile.

My 5701 does ok. I just hate the Keyfob. I like the smart start. Oh and Im Pming you with some Q's in a sec...

Got the Iphone and they have that alarm sync sh!t for mine its just 400+ and you pay a subscription too (from what i understand) so im good off that for a while.
