Green stang let me know how you like the Konis. Onyx what spring would you suggest to go with? I was also thinking about the H&R SS but i dont know if that would be too much for the STR.Ts...

I run Koni Str.t and Steeda Ultralites (not Sports) on my Coyote. They are, without question, the best ride quality setup I've ever felt in a lowered Mustang. Period. Even with 20s and rubber band tires.

Absolutely fantastic for a daily driver like mine. Plus, they lowered the car only a little bit (1" front, 1.25" rear) so I can still get over speedbumps with ease.

I think most people WAY overestimate how much shock absorber they "need." Unless you're at the road course doing something serious, anything super fancy/expensive is way overkill and just wasting money. IMO.

Paul.

Here's a pic.

My Civic forums (for my race car) love the Konis, they're more aggressive overall, but still really driveable. As for the steeda sports, they're nothing special. They're constant rate and will only lower it a mild amount. These cars like big drops. Anything else looks like its 4-wheelin.

I had steeda sports with tokico blues. Great riding setup. Went to sportlines and bilsteins for something a bit more aggressive. Rides a little stiffer, especially when the shocks are cold. But nothing I'm not willing to put up with.

I'd like to throw H&R Super Sports in the mix. They're progressive rate, so my ride actually improved a lot over stock when paired with KYB non-adjustibles.

I will always recommend H&R SS springs, I couldn't say a bad thing about them. As far as being too much for those struts I couldn't tell ya, but I wouldn't pick a spring based on the struts you want to use cause you probably won't be happy with how the car sits.

Worst post ever???:confused1:

I don't see how... Koni designs each tier of their shock to have the same properties in every iteration of them. They act the same if they were on a Mustang or a Camaro or a Civic. I just figured I would give some reasoning on why I frequent Civic forums.
