I currently have the orange Koni shocks on the car and they starting to feel a bit soft. They have been on the car for over 10 years and they bottom out on train tracks and larger bumps on the road. The car is lowered with H&R springs, so it's not slammed but bigger bumps feel like the diff if going through the back seat. lol I am thinking about getting the KYB AGX adjustable shocks so I can dial in the rear and not bottom out all the time. Has anyone run these shocks before?

I think those are the ones I had on my white 02 gt. The rear end felt loose while accelerating and had a bit of a harsh ride.

I recommended the KYB AGX shocks & struts for the Humble Mechanic Mustang project because they seemed to offer good bang-for-the buck. I was impressed with their initial performance and quality, but I don't have any long-term experience with them. I do plan to use them on a future autocross project to determine how well they hold up over time. Super-stiff springs can be hard for some shocks & struts to control. I would suggest getting the spring rates for your H&R springs and checking with KYB to make sure they will work well together.

Thanks for the replies. I also found that Belltech makes a Street Performer shock that works on a mustang. I always think of Belltech as truck stuff.
