learn me some about air dryers/filters for painting?

I am starting to look at this as I am hoping to get the car back from the shop maybe next week and then can start the fun! Looking at different paint guns and stuff I think I have those narrowed down but all the choices/differences in them I have on idea what to look for. Seems like I can get them cheap or break the bank. I want good results but I am not going to be turning pro and doing it regularly. Pivco is a local store for me and they have always been pretty fair from what I have seen.
