Man I remember that car when I had my Silver 98. I had picked up a 5.4 motor to do all the swap stuff and ended up selling it and the car. How did that car turn out and why did you get rid of it?

my favorite drag car of all time!
I convinced a friend at the track it was slow and ran 17s. He believed me lmao.
This setup is pretty sleeper. But I loved his 4 door setup, you'd never know it had anything!

Yea I knew you would know of both the Alberta boys . They're super cool and really good guys my buddy Steve with the white coupe who raced the copper car in the finals the guy let my boy have lane choice because he's that chill. The Alberta boys bring some of the baddest cars to events here . We already got some big grudge style events being organized this week lol . The best part with those 2 cars is they both are 7 second cars and can be seen driven on the street like it ain't no thing .... Take notes boys turbos or single turbo can be lovely .

What backspacing are you guys running? im thinking about some Pro-star replicas and their going to be 15x8's and putting a M/T ET street on them. I'm stuck either going with the 5.5 BA or 6.5 BA.

5" back spacing is perfect for a 15x8. I ran 4.5, and they stuck just a touch too far out, and my current 5.5's sit just a touch too far in.

My next wheels will be 15x10 with a 6.5" backspacing.

General rule of thumb is 5.5" bs for 15x8 and 6.5" bs for 15x10. I've ran both sizes and both sit flush on my setup

Any issues with clearance on the 15x10's w/ 6.5 BS?

Not as long as you dont have Cobra rear brakes. Those of us who do, need to play with special banjo bolts, and low profile hoses. Kinda a PITA, but worth it in the end.
