life endagering drive shaft fixed

well, me and my dad spent all saturday working on my car. the we replaced the front unversal joint on the drive shaft which was causing tons of vi bration. it was so screwed up that there was no bearing left at all in one of the four sides and the metal was completley chewed off. i was lucky my drive shaft never flew off, nocked around and killed. we fixed that and now my car drives silky smooth at high speeds (did 110 last night, not on purpose).

also did some other stuff such as tweaks to my intake plenum so that 90% of airflow control is the driver and not the computer, now i can engine brake, yay! (but now i have to rev match when i shift, lol) and i can set the idle pretty much anyway i want without doing anything to the computer. fixed some of the rattle in my exhause, still working on that, and got rattle out of my clutch peddle today .

problem fixed, srry i moved stuff around in photobucket.

Ok, here's how you accidently do 110. I was on the highway and people were doing around 70. cause my drive shaft was boned i was used to it vibrating to tell me how fast i was going and around 80 it would vibrate violently and that was my signal to slowdown. well i wanna pass a couple of cars, and remeber my driveshaft id fixed now, so i down shift, pass, shift into fith at some point still not realizing my speed, i look down at the speedometer and react this way: "holy shit, 105, screw ill go for 110 real quik and slow down" and thats what i do.

basicly i forgot to payattention to my speed cause my car wasnt vibrating like crazy, lol. 105 on accident, 110 on purpose (big whoop, 5mph) :thumb:
