Hey fellas. Haven't been on in a while because Ive been really busy with school and all, and of course because the tranny is shot. Well lately ive been trying to really finish her up. I recently just recieved a pretty huge tranny cooler and my BC-Auto 3600 lock up billet converter. The transmission should be finished up within the next month or two and I am also throwing in some blower cams and going to keep it as is for a while. Heres my new goodies!:

I gained 52 peak hp at the same amount of boost from Cushman Motorsports stage 2.5 cams.

thats extremely tempting. If you say you gained that much hp/tq I may give this guy a call. If you dont mind me asking, about roughly how much did you spend? Is he like everywhere else basically with $600 for cams, $200 springs?

$528 for the cams (Not regrinds and I had them in a week) and yes about 200 for springs.

Also, if you didn't know, those where with a bad cylinder and a 15 minute base tune (same humidity/temp and timing). I pulled the engine the next day because I lost compression on #8 a few weeks earlier (144 compared to 195 on the other cylinders). I couldn't resist putting them in before the tear down. It was also with a stock long block and exhaust manifolds.

The new set up has stage 2 heads, stroker, those cams and a 15 lb pulley. I chose to go with the 2.5 over the 3 cams because the Stage3's are more for 600+. From what my buddy said the 3's took twice as long to fine tune it for his DD. My goals are up to 600 but no more for me since I have no need for it.

If you email him or register he'll give you another 20% off the listed price. It was between his cams and MPH's blower cams but they wouldn't tell me their specs and they were 700$ so I said screw em. CMS are the best cams on the marker, I've seen them in a dozen different applications. Even his stage 1 NA cams see gains of 35 rwhp. He knows his cams.

my car pretty much feels like a rocket with the new converter....maybe its just when I get on it from a roll that makes the biggest differance but it certainly hits that powerband hard and keeps it whenever you hit the gas.

I still might be able to get more out of it if I lock it up in third
