So, on my way home from school tonight, a CRX pulls up next to me and starts revving his motor.

I roll down my window and he's says "yo, wanna race?" Then starts laughing to his passenger who said something about 5 point slow.

I look at his car, its ghey ground effects are primerd and the rest of the car is blue. It has a huge fart can and stickers all over it.

So I inform him that it is not a 5.0, its a 4 banger, and he's about to have his ass handed to him.

JESUS CHRIST!

I know those things are slow... But come on... Light turns green, I spin both tires (woot, i love my new posi rear) and I instantly put a car on him...

Everytime he shifts, I put more distance on him. 1/4 mile up the road, I had a good bus length on him.

My car is a stock 4 banger. wow... I couldn't believe how badly I destroyed that POS.

lol. I don't even acknowledge the ricer kids, attention is what they're looking for with those ridiculous sounding cars, and I don't give them the safisfaction. Though if it's a exceptionally ridiculous looking car (huge wing, primered body kit, etc), occasionally I will give the the satisfaction... of making sure they see me laughing.

Dude, I got into the slowest race ever in my ex-wifes Integra one day. I kept my foot in it for like 20 seconds, looked down and I was going 85, lol. Stupid Celica was right behind me, taking it all seriously, lol. So much for Vtech.

There are honda's where I live that can beat the new C6s with ease....
It's insane. There aren't MANY but there are a nice little handful. There are more of those ricers though. But a lot of people have clean cars here too.... just not as many mustangs... I've been finding more and more though! Last weekend I hung out with a nice group of mustangs. It was a relief haha.

Of course there are fast Honda's, just like everything, but our Integra was stock, it was transportation to us, 30 mpg reliable way to scoot around So Cal. And most kids with Honda's have exactly the same thing, except they got all confused and think they have a racecar.

Hell when we got our G35 we sold ours to some kid who's probably out ricing it up right now, fart can and a CAI do not a race car make. Most of them are kids, while honestly it's admirable that they wanna go fast, are confused a bit. Anyone who think's it's easy, or cost effective to build a fast Honda is sadly mistaken.

I've had a nasty Integra-motored SCCA GT3 class CRX almost pass my 450 hp Mustang on the road course. I think he said the car weighed <2000 lbs. He would literally pick up four car lengths every time we hit a braking zone. Then he'd lose 30 car lengths in the straight - but at the start/finish line, he was always right there again. Little ******. :lol:

It was funny, I talked to the guy after the race. His car was sick. He laughed and showed me his in-car video. he said "Everytime we hit the front straight it looked like you were pulling away from me in fast forward!" :rollinglaugh:

Still, I couldn't get away from him. He was a better driver and had a fast little car.

Ricer's are so stupid and think they are so cool and smooth. I was at a cruise that has all hod rods and muscle cars, then there are a few morons that show up in rice. A smartass punk pulled up next to me in his WRX and revved so I could hear his fart can and blow off valve, then all the guys in the car laughed and pointed. I then revved my 500 ponies then they heard MY blow off valve and the look on all their faces was priceless and they rolled their windows up and looked away. I passed them later and revved again and their windows were still up and they wouldn't even look over LOL hahahahahahahahaha!

I've got a buddy who's got a GTi, he's running 21lbs of Boost and is only makeing 310fwhp... the car is light, but still... 21 lbs, and only 310 hp? we always have an arguement about it... I told him i'd give him $10,000, and I'd take $10,000... with that money we would have to BUY and build a car. i bet him that i would win with an old $500 foxbody, and a SMALL 306... told him if i wanted, i could jump to a bigger engine, like a 408, or even a 427, and it would be over... he claims, he could win, BUT i would have the advantage because i would have 8 cylinders VS his 4... come on man. if you want a handicap because i'm smart enough to buy a real car, with a real Engine, then take that shit somewhere else...

Only 2 good things about a CRX. My friend has the HF model, and he get 45mpg, the second good thing is I am 6'4" tall and I have plenty of leg room in his little ricer. More room than my mustang had, atleast before the seat track extender
