I know Mac has made tips that are not rolled. And what's wrong with rolled? I think they look good.

not on their catbacks for our cars :/ I don't like rolled I think it's makes exhaust company's look cheap and crappy, when in reality they're trying to look expensive and classy.

Hmm, i liked the rolled, oh well.

A guy i know has a Mac catback on his '97 GT and it doesn't have rolled tips. They look really good.

they come out at an angle too im pretty sure, plus i don't like mac's sound :dunno:



one more question... is the only x pipe that I can get for bbk long tubes going to be the bbk x pipe??? because the bbk x pipe is very restrictive.

Bassani tips come out at a slight angle too. and no idea on the x pipe question.

No. Any midpipe built for LT's will work. And NO, the BBK x-pipe is not "very restrictive". At least mine's not anyway.

No. Any midpipe built for LT's will work. And NO, the BBK x-pipe is not "very restrictive". At least mine's not anyway.

the only rea son I'm saying that the bbk x is very restrictive is because a buddy of mine had lt's and a cherry bomb muffler on his 02 gt, and there was so much backpressure his exhaust was actually pinging he made like 320 rwhp with it but then switched it out for a custom x he made and got 327rwhp with no pinging anymore.


and are you absolutely sure that any midpipe meant for lt's will work for my bbk lt's? cause some look different.

Most of those problems are from the cherry bomb (did he REALLY have a "cherry bomb" on his Mustang :hammer: )

I might just go with the bbk x pipe if they ever come out with a stainless steel one, I emailed them about it and they said before summer. well this is summer lol
