Hello SN95-ers.
I have a 95 GT 132K miles
I've head a few issues with engine wanting to die under acceleration and under WOT the car would take off like an airplane. A few times was popping through the exhaust on the right side (that's what it seemed like) or through the air filter, I couldn't tell. I have leached from pretty much all the Mustang forums even read articles from the Taurus and have reached nowhere.

What didn't help:
1. Changing the sparkplugs
2. Changing the wires
3. Changing the Cap rotor
4. Cleaning the MAF, IAC, and other sensors.
5. Changing the Fuel filter
6. Checking electrical connections, grounds and some other little stuff.
What did help:
1. Changing the O2 Sensors. This helped with all idle issues I've head. I am guessing that they were never changed. I bought the car 3 mo ago and of course it did not do anything while I test drove it. The color on the O2's was ... white.

Other issues solved. Cruise control, Horn, and something else that I don't remember but they were all connected to a fuse under the Hood. So if you have these issues pull the fuses and check them good as the one that looks like a Z was burned in a place where I could not see. It took 3 days of messing with stuff until I decided to pull out the fuses.
Anyway, maybe I rambled a bit.

Hope this post helps at least one of you.

It did throw some code. Shame on me that I don't remember but tomorrow I'll go in the car and see what I wrote down.

Installed also a IAC restrictor plate from Ebay and RPM doesn't hang between gear change or on neutral when coming to a light from the exit ramp.

I looked up my notes and the code was 543. After the O2's change no more check engine light or choking on acceleration.

Thanks for the post and I'm glad you were able to solve some of your problems. Luckily my '95 hasn't given me much issues. Dies from time to time but it's rare and I think it just needs a tuneup which I haven't done yet but will be soon. Anyways, keep us posted with anything else you come across. The more information the better, I'm sure it'll help someone at some point.
