I jus bought my 97' and it has a bad motor...my new motor (04' PI crate motor) will be here in the next couple of days...I am wanting to run long tube headers but it is an automatic....Does anyone here have a 96-98 GT with automatic transmission and you are running long tube headers...if so what brand and were there any fitment issues...I was told the the BBK 15410 long tube headers would work...but they were being run on a 2001 Gt with auto...Im new to the mustang world and jus want to get everything lined up to install the motor and the best time to put the headers is with the new motor..thanx for any help and info... :thumb:

sorry im late to this thread. I replied to your email man. SLP fits autos and is the best quality out of any company out there. I would say SLP is right up there with Hooker/Kooks
