long tubes and o2s

i bought the bbk extension and it said 87-04 and the connectors didnt fit. i though i might have been sent thr wrong ones until i read that you have to modify them to fit, is this true? has anyone ele had any problems with bbks extensions and there o2s?

i just cut my stock ones and added wirer to extand them my self.
it seems dumb that you bought them and still have to modify them

waste of money. I'm running LT's and my O2 wires were plenty long enough

i know you can order longer o2s, mabye you have those adder i dunno. mabye someone eles who has used bbks will chime in.

Just cut the tab that is in the way. Thats what I did.

Actually, they are 8.5" leads... the shortest you can get.

all i did was sand down the tab that doesnt allow connector to slide in all the way. its a quick fix.

You cut the one offset tab that keeps the connectors from hooking up. Done and done.

well... i cut of the platic peices sticking out of the connectors and they fit like a charm. im about to call bbk tho and tell them about it becuase something like that should be in the instructions or atleast on their website.

I think it is in the instructions that you may have to cut one of the ears off. I do remember reading it somewhere... I just took a look at the thing and was like "wiring is wiring and if I cut that nub off the ****** will hook right up" and that's exactly what I did.
