long tubes vs shortys

car made 301hp and 332tq with bbk shorts, o/r h-pipe and flowmaster cat back
put mac long tubes and prochamber on
car made 309hp and 326tq after. but carried power further in the rpm's than with the shorts.
they are a pain to put on.
and the prochamber is sweet, car isnt even loud till you put your foot in it.

I had equal length shorties on and it did little for performance. Cars pretty loud but not much more then the stock headers and o/r h pipe did. As soon as I have the spare $$ my LT will be ceramic coated and the shorties will come off. The folks I talked to who did the same noticed more power with LT then shorties (both equal and non). For those saying it's a DD so what's the point, well LT have proven them selves to make more power low end/mid range which is were most DD stay. So why would you see the point?

so with a KB already on my car what do you guy's thing i would get out of shortys vs lt's hp wise? I would like lt's but dont wont to have to chang my H pipe. Just would like to know how much of a diff i would get out of LT's vs the shortys.
