saw an ad on CL and took a ride up to derry to look at a 2000 gt with 80k on it.. guy says it was owned by a man in his late 40's
who bought an 03 roush as a trade in. its silver and not modded in any way besides a shift knob. engine sounded tight transmission shifts smooth, barely any rust except the minor undercarriage wear ( typical on a nh car ) but here are the pics of the car anyways. hes asking 7300 cash so what do you guys think? :headbang:

p.s sorry the pics are so big, im still new to uploading pics.. but not bad for a 8megapixel camera phone eh? :laughing5:

Price is way too high for a car in that conditon, I'd say at least $1000 to high

BTW - those seat covers arent stock either, they never embroidered the Ford Racing logo on a 2000, it would of been the running horse logo

Honeslty I would walk away form that one, the broken vets, fogged headlights and amount of underhood neglect show a car that got bare minimum of care done to it

Cars nicer than that sell for 5000-5500 in socal.

seats and carpet aren't stock, tires need replacing (sidewall bulges), pedals missing the covers, and damn at all that oxidation on the aluminum parts under the hood.

I'd offer 4500 tops.

i agree with you 100% but im an 18 year old kid and when a sales person looks at me they think they can rip me off. im hoping to go back soon with my dad and take him down. he seems stuck on the price though so if he doesnt budge ill just say f*** it.

is that center console stock? What year did the cup holders start being integrated? 03? Either way I agree with everyone else on here so far. Walk away, there is already a laundry list to get it back to proper condition. You can find better for that price.

that console is stock, the 01+ center console has the molded in cup holders.

the earlier cars could have cup holders like that in place of the ashtray/door/lighter.

Seriously, for that price I wouldn't even bother going back. My 00 GT was in worlds better shape then that inside adn out and I sold it for less that that.

Keep looking, plenty of Mustangs for sale out there.

That 'stang does look to be in rough shape... I bought my '00 GT 5 spd ALL STOCK. Down to the air silencer/exhaust with 67K on it for 7900. One owner and it was perfect, new tires and front brake pads. The price seems a bit high for the condition.

Id walk on this one, the price seems a high, especially for the condition. I picked up my Cobra with a 331 stroker and trick flow h/c/i, stage two where it matters with less then 3k on the motor for 9k with a bunch of other add ons. Take your time man, there are great deals out there, just wait for the right one, you wont regret it. BTW theres a 01" Cobra on SVTP for 7.3K with bolt ons and wheels thats clean as hell and a 96 cobra procharged for 5.5K, check em out!

Believe me man, if i could get an 01 cobra or a procharged 96 that'd be tits.. but i wanna start with something as stock as possible so i can put my own forced induction on it.. if anything i would want that 96 but i'm sure its quite the distance from me. unfortunately around here in mass/nh its a little harder to find a 96-04 that isnt either overpriced or beat on. im about to say screw it and take a road trip down south if i get a good offer.

I'm with all the other guys on this one. I say wait till you find one that really jumps out at chu. I was supposed to buy a nissan pulsar GTiR, but it didn't go through, ended up buying my car out of spite. Thankfully I happen to love my purple bitch, but still! Wait for something to jump at you cause you're going to be stuck with it!

Also, after seeing the Walmart pedal covers it LOOKS as if there was a fire extinguisher on the right side of the console or something...I could be wrong...but I've seen a lot of rice with fire extinguishers in that same position in their "cars" hehe.
