I highly recommend a honda for a daily driver. I get great gas mileage, the cars are easy to work on and easy to make 13- second cars with mild work, they're cheap and they go forever.
My car has 174K on it and I could take it to 200K without any major work needing to be done.
I'm going to have the rings and bearings replaced on my car and then I should be able to go for another 100K on the engine easy.

My new DD has 181 on the clock and (so far) doesnt need a complete overhaul. lol.
Also, im getting ~25 MPG right now in it (i'll update once I re-fill.)
Hondas do make awesome DDs, but the import scene here in Colorado is such that I dont want associated with it in any way.....

MustangChris any pictures yet?

Not yet. I want to wash it and the Mustang and get pics of them together :-D

My car doesn't really need a complete overhaul. But there are plenty of hondas running 200+ thousand miles versus say ford or chevy. They're reliable cars. I have one of the less fuel economic cars and it doesn't go below 25, and as high as 35 city from my tracking.

Either way though, it's great that the car is still clocking miles.

I have a feeling a '97 Lincoln daily driver could get expensive quick with repairs and such. I don't think that's a good choice.

(in all seriousness I got the idea from the SouthPark where Cartman's mom talks Clinton into past-birth abortions)
