looking for tips and tricks for headswap

I'm going to be doing the PI headswap and im looking for any tips or tricks for making this swap go as easy as possible.

Its pretty straight forward, Make sure you have a new set of TTY bolts an a nice headgasket. Id run a OEM head gasket IMO...


O Make sure you drain the coolant before you begin

I heard ill have to get a new oils dip stick tube is this true?

A dip stick from a 99-04 should work right? Also when during the install should I install the oil dip stick tube? Before the heads with the headers installed or after the heads are on and bolted?

depending on what headers you use. long tubes i would go ahead and get it routed and do it early. if shorties it honestly wont matter when
