Loss of power

For about 2 weeks now my car bogs down during normal acceleration no matter if it's warmed up or not and no matter what the weather is like. I already replaced and double checked my TPS setting, cleaned my IAC valve and sprayed my MAF with MAF specific cleaner with no change at all. The bogging goes on and off, sometimes it will run like a new car and then I'll get to a stoplight and once I go it will feel like it's missing a lot of power. Other times I'll be cruising at normal speeds while it's feeling bogged and all of a sudden without me giving it more or less gas the power kicks in. The weird thing is if I give it WOT at any time it will all of a sudden wake up and run great. When it bogs the idle gets really rough, my exhaust sounds different, I can see a little bit of smoke come out of my side exhaust and it smells like raw fuel. Car is mostly stock, has CAI, comp cam the previous owner installed, and full exhaust. I've had the car for about 5-6 years and this problem started recently. Don't know if there is any more info I can give. Thoughts?

Oxygen sensors could be reading slowly or biased. If they are reading incorrectly(verified with a wideband perferably) or slowly then replace them.

The fuel filter isn't that old. I'll change it anyways since it's easy and cheap to replace, although I have my doubts about it because of the way the car runs at WOT. I'm going to order the O2 sensors from tousley, they're about $38 each plus shipping so it's not so bad, I guess I'll know in about a week.

I switched out the O2 sensors this morning and now it runs like a champ, I can hit the redline, and I don't get any backfire through the intake.

Well if it was running super rich then it could have fouled the plugs, super lean could have burnt off the electrodes.
