you may have seen my build in the build up section. its a dart 331 tfs heads all that good stuff. well it finally runs now and it smoked at the get go which is understandable until the rings seat and burn all the excess oil out of the cylinders. well it has been running for an hour ish total and there is still smoke coming out d side header and not just smoke, there is also oil. the heads were checked before install and are flat as is block. and there is no antifreeze coming out so that would eliminate the headgasket as being a culprit. ran a compression check and all cylinders 120psi +/-5. the 7 and 8 cylinders plugs looked wet with oil compared to others. heads had only 2-3k miles on them last year. and the only other thing i can think of would be valve seals. i had a shop clean the heads before install and they dont remember if they removed any valves to check them. they said good possability that they removed 1-2 valves. so i removed the valve seals from 5 and 7 and they both look new still have the ridges in the top and no signs of any wear and tear on them. could they stil be the culprit or is there another place i should be looking as well?

while the valve springs are off, see if you can wiggle the valves in the guides, slide them up and down by hand and check for any roughness

well the intake gaskets looked good, they didnt move or leak. there was a large puddle on #8 intake valve and a small puddle on the backs of #4 and #7 so i think i found the culprit. the oil fill tube has a 3/8 line coming off and it is hooked to the back of the intake and looks to be sucking oil from there into the intake. it will get put back together in the morning and will see what happens

Just out of interest how does it breathe as my SVO intake has 2 connectors for the pcv?
