Looking to replace the no name bov on my boostbrothers kit, anyone has a suggestion on a quality one, but I want it to be real loud. Might sound ricey, but that's what it's for. Hear in st. louis the rice turbo guys like to run up on you or blow by letting off the gas to give you the swooosh. I just want to return the favor before they get their asswhoopin.

It was on a buddy of mines car before I got it. Everything on the fitment was good and at 6psi with a trickflow top end kit on a 302, was laying well over 400+ on hp and tq on a very safe tune. im replacing the 64mm it comes with, with a 70mm trim. There is a 12psi spring in the wastegate now but never got used. I expect to make alot of power easily with a very mild h/c/i.

I dont have any pics. Im getting the rest of my car finished over the winter to roll out in the spring. The car was tore down to a shell and started fresh. I got the whole suspension, exterior, interior and rear end finished. Now the engine and tranny is left.
If you want to see pics of the kit, I have that.

why not just put a compressed air tank in the trunk with a solenoid since all you care about is noise vs function :angry7:

I don't think I've ever heard a quiet bov to be honest. I like the way my Greddy RZ sounds on my srt and its pretty loud.

The no name bov that comes with this kit could hardly even be heard. As I stated before I wanted a QUALITY one to replace it as the asshole on the comment must not know how to read cause I dont want this no name one to be in control of wether or not my pressure is released.

Ive heard the turbo XS RFL is loud. the RFL stands for (really F***** loud) Also keep in mind that big "swoosh" and all will also be partially dependent on how much boost ur running.

So you wonder why no one listens to you. Everyone ignores you cause all you can do is run around on sites and badmouth everything you possibly can. I could say the sky is blue and you would b*tch and complain about how it slightly teal. You and Modo up there should get some sewing kits and sit together and have some good long conversations.

the only reason it says that is because it does not have a return side to get rerouted into a inlet to serve as a "bypass" for a draw through meter. since he is looking for a bov and a loud one that will work fine as long as the car has a blow through maf and the bov is before the meter.
