So I have told some of you a bit about my driveway, but in case you missed out on that mind stimulating and exciting conversation. Let me explain with an image. Remember I put on new Rear lower control arms from MM and a new Eibach sway bar kit. So when I back out of the driveway I have to make sure I am straight as an arrow, or I scrape. I have scraped a few times already trying to find the sweet spot to climb down. So I am getting better at it..lol! Straight and very very slowly lowering the rear. It's challenging when other cars are coming in either direction as they become dumb and freak out as to what I am doing.. anyways..I wish the bar was off the ground an inch more, as it wouldn't stress me out so badly!!!!!!

Maybe 18 inches wheels will help cure most of the problem...until then! ah the joy of a lowered car..

Just make an itty bitty ramp about 6" across that goes the length of the driveway. That IS close though.

I feel your pain darhawk. My car is completely slammed in the front. I have 2 speed bumps i have to get over to get to my house thanks to my neighbor.... Learned the exact angle and where to hit it in order to keep from scraping. However its impossible not to scrape if anyone else is in the car with me lol.

I know what you mean! I have the same problem...MM adjustable lowers & Eibach sway bars & a STEEP driveway...My total sympathies. I plan on bagging my car to have multiple settings for this very issue

How far off the ground is the eibach sway bar? Is it that much lower?

lowered cars really can be a pain in the ass. fyi 18" wheels won't help unless you go with a taller tire, but you could do that with 17s too.

I would build a ramp for sure...there's no reason to scrape your money against the pavement.

Need to raise that car up! I would not sacrifice driving quality that.....
I'm not sacrificing anything...just need to go slow only out the driveway, since it's about the size of a speed bump. Otherwise this car drives like a dream. I don't worry about it once onto the street. :)

Agreed completely...I just switched to 18's and with the calculations I did and the tires I got...it didn't raise the car up at all....they are almost exactly the same diameter as the 17's were when all was said and done. basically...you need to raise the car up a bit sadly.

Or just make a ramp of sorts. It would actually be easier to stick with 17's and add more tire if you wanted to go that route.

My Eibach sits pretty damn low too in comparison to the stock bar, my J&M's don't hang down any further tho so that helps a little but I scraped every single day, back when I was driving it, going in and out of the parking lot at work. It was STEEP but I used to shimmy out of it sideways with no issues at all. Then I added tailpipes, which dropped the mufflers/x pipe... Then I added J&M's and an Eibach bar lol....
