Well I dont know.. Ive got a few years of driving schools / HPDE and just play days before I need to follow strict rules.

Is there a way to use only the factory alt bracket only with the water pump? I dont want to get too far out of whack so that I cant get back easly

Yes just route from the alt, around the crank, the back side of the belt will hit the water pump. I think AdderMkII has this setup

That's a neat setup, but when you realize you need power steering (which you will) then you will have wasted money that could have been spent elsewhere since it doesn't work with power steering.

Nope.. I got another drag project on the side that the manual rack, brakes, and now this bracket can go on.. dont be so negitive on me wanting to change to power. Ive even bought a larger steering wheel to make things easier. I believe its what you get use too.

It's not "being negative" - it's good advice. The two guys in this thread with road race experience are telling you it's a good idea.

I dunno man, I would get a AGR power steering rack or keep the OE setup and call it a day. Keep in mind, were not trying to be negative, but only trying to point you in the right direction from our past experiences. :) Chassis setup is most critical with these cars, why not invest that money into that instead?
