I scrape at a lot of places in my area. My car is lowered more than most mustangs but its still not that terrible. And I had to do some "custom fitting" with my downpipe to make it sit higher. But all in all its not really that bad. just have to learn how your car is and how you can go over bumps and driveways without scraping. Unless your roads are really as terrible as spoken of before in the thread

My car is lowered and I scrape like hheecccckkk on the bridge at my house. The roads are fine, speedbumps fine. My car's exhaust has been worked over though to help out. I welded the mufflers to teh H-Pipe to get rid of the flanges because that was getting caught. I still need to to do the passenger side. I'm also running dumps, so its pretty easy to loosen everything up and slam it up without knocking the tailpipes out and make them look weird.

yep i scrape too. been pretty careful as of late, but I lived at some apartments for awhile that had high speed bumps which were killing me. A buddy of mine has this weird driveway that leads to his house on an incline that I scrape on too. Drives me nuts.

Although its my fault for not just doing it myself, I let someone else mount my exhaust so I wouldnt have to mess with dropping the rear axle or cutting the tail pipes, and since I didnt have air tools, I couldnt reach the passenger side manifold studs with the catalytic converter in the way on the stock midpipe with hand tools (while having enough torque to break the studs loose). The guy who put it all together put all the C-clamps on with the studs facing downward, so now everything I drive over scrapes them.

I could turn them over or cut the excess threads off, but thats too much like work.

you guys are going about this all wrong. you gotta scrape on everything untill it doesnt scrape any more. then you go under and lower it even more...

its no stang but its the lowest thing i've owned, it would climb onto speed bumps and teeder todder on them. its one thing to scrape you exhaust its a whole new ball game when your engine case can get lodged in potholes...

you not low until you have to dig a hole to fit a jack under your car.

how does anyone go anywhere with a car that low. Maybe his streets are made of glass.

pahaha^

thats great.
But i scrape on some spots, i don't care though, just part of riding low and being a balla.
that is until you rip off your midpipe and catback piece (or whatever the op said) lol.
I have sportlines and it seems fine to me. no biggie. pretty much like someone in here said. keep on hitting things until it stops scraping.

I scrape... alot. lol even if you go slow and at an angle over bumps... there is a likely hood to scrape.
The only thing that usually hits is the Xpipe. there was one instance where my tranny jerked... but that was a freak accident
