I want to slam my 96 mustang but i cant find any springs that will lower it more than 1.75" in the front and like 1.5" in the rear. Anyone know where I can get some springs that will drop it a lot lower? It's a 96 v6 body with a 4.6 swap by the way.

^ What he said. You wont find any springs that go lower than 2 inches. You can cut some springs but i wouldn't recommend it

if your going to cut spring, atleast get some lowering springs and cut them! cutting stock springs will be the worst thing you could do!
hers is my old cars setup: sportlines cut about an inch

Coilovers would be the best solution, however it will cost a bit more than cutting springs. You could also go with an Airride setup if you really wanted to slam it, but again, more money.

intrax or tein are some of the lower rides i have seen.i have intrax and my buddy has the other.they are deff a full 2 inch drop, remove isos and you have more.you dont need coilovers to get that drop.cutting springs doesnt matter on a progressive rate spring like a drop spring, cutting a stock spring is a whole nother story as the spring is wound completely diff.

Im thinking about buying the eibach sportlines and removing the iso's? Are the iso's just spacers or what? I noticed when people say they removed the iso's the cars set lower.

Isolators install on the top and bottom of each spring. They serve as a damper and they also stop all metal to metal contact from the springs rubbing on the control arms.
