Lowering my mustang GT

Hi all my 2001 mustang GT is all ready lowered 1.5 " all around but it's not low enough for me. Anyway I will be lowering it soon but there is just one issue I need to change my wheels. I currently am running 17x9" wheels not sure of the ET/OFF Set with 275/45/17 tyres up front and 315/40/17 on the rears but if I go any lower the tyres are going to run.
So my question to you lot is this
What wheels and tyre combo are you lowered mustang owners running?

I'm running the same size tires on FR500 reps. My rear fenders are rolled. I do get some rubbing on really hard bumps though.

I think that's pretty close to where I'm at. I was lower, but got tired of dragging my mid pipe over everything.

Roll the fenders and you’ll be good. I’m sitting on 18x10’s and we already checked clearance. Sits just right.
