1998 SVT Cobra, Eibach Sportlines, Stock 98 'SVT modified' shocks/struts, all isolators in.

Yes the story told to me by SVT themselves is that the stock shocks/struts on the 96-98 cobras were a modified version of the standard stock GT set-up. Modified by whom is not know

has anyone lowered their car with the 2" drop spindles from Racecraft? im just wondering what it would look like cuz im considering doing that instead of CC plates and lowering springs.. (for now i guess) they run $495 a set i believe.

I've heard drop spindles are junk on mustangs, and then buying from a place like racecraft who just buys other peoples parts and rebadges them is worse

You will be fine if you don't race your car with a drop on 2"

OK don't know what isolaters are but I have JAMEX springs which lowered the car about 1.5 inches. I also have adjustable LCAs and the rear is lowered an additional 5/8 of an inch. The company has since gone out of business and I got them because they were cheap and luckily have had no problems (sag etc.) since install in 1999 so they worked out.

Sorry guys and gals, I don't know which springs are in my car because they were in it when I got it. They are red but don't say Eibach so I don't think they are Sportlines. I am thinking maybe Mac springs.

FRPP C-Springs, Tokico struts and shocks - new drop today so right now it's a 1" front and 5/8" back drop. Will update when i get the full 1 1/4" front 1" back after settling

sportlines give a deeper drop

Yeah sportlines are 1.8"-2" and pro are 1.5"

BBK Gripp springs w/ isolators in i believe (they were on the car when i got it)

by looking at those pics i think id like it to have more of a raked stance.d Might have to cut the coils/remove isos or maybe get different springs this spring...
