Lowering Spring Questions and Concerns

I have H&R super sports to put on the car as well as polyurethane front spring isolators and new front lower control arms with ball joints. I have maximum motorsport camber/caster plates on the car already as well as brand new kyb non adjustable shocks and struts already on. Where I live the roads are straight as an arrow so im not looking for any special cornering capability. I want to lower it for aesthetics only. I do not really care about comfortability but it is my daily driver. Also its sitting on 245/45/17s all around Im just wondering will I need a bumpsteer kit or any other things to go with it? Any advice much appreciated

I'm not an expert on this topic, but have done similar on my 97. I'm not sure about the longevity of the KYB struts with that much lowering. Perhaps someone else will read this thread and comment. You may know this already about bumpsteer, but if not check this AI summary out.

Yes you will want a bump steer kit. The shocks will last quite a while. Fox shocks are shorter and work better for sn car that are low when you need replacements.

I have Super Sports on my 95 Cobra... It has Bilsteins with MM CC Plates. Front tires are 275/40/17 on 9 inch wheels. I have no bump steer issues. I would install "as-is" and then determine if you need the bump steer kit. An excellent alignment is critical.
