I am looking at adding side skirts to my mustang. My plan is to cut a hole in them and add a heat plate and run exhaust out of them. I know they make SVO sides but from what I hear they are hard to come by. I want to run it out the sides as this is a track car and I have no need to have mufflers or cats. So no reason to add extra weight with piping out the rear. I am thinking Cobra R front but unsure about rear bumper at this point. Thank you in advance for any advice!!!

You can find the SVO skirts for sale if you look long enough they do pop up every so often. Took me a long time to find mine for a decent price. ABC exclusive also makes the same set they just don't say SVO on them.

why even put tips on it at all if its a track car? just put turn downs coming out of the mufflers.

even more of a reason is that if its a track car your going to want sub frame connectors. I can tell you first hand they are difficult to fab up side exhaust if you have subs.

I cant just dump per Formula D rules. Its suppose to exit the rear of the car but I can get away with side exhaust. And I already have subframes on the car. Anything is possible.

I currently have a set of the spintechs that I am waiting to install on mine as well. Unfortunatly I am sick in the hospital so it will have to wait along with the heads/cam I am dying to install...

I did not know they even existed until a little while ago. I have to cut off my round style subframes at some point. Hope the cutting wheel is up to the task
